The Sales Tax Calculator was developed initially
for the upcoming Streamlined Sales Tax requirements in Washington State. However
we've since realized ANY
business that needs to collect destination-based (by address)
sales tax will appreciate the ease
of this product. Simply provide a full
street address and/or zip code and get the correct tax rate and code.
For simple use, we have a small easy-to-use, unintrusive user-interface. For the more
advanced use, we offer a SDK or Webservice to allow your existing invoicing
programs to utilize it without any extra steps - our product can actually become
part of your existing software. Even if you don't have your own development
staff, give us a call - we can integrate it with any number of retail or custom
invoicing applications (Quickbooks, MS Office Accounting, your own custom system,
etc...).
Of course this isn't just for the Streamlined Sales Tax, any
service-based business that travels between tax regions will find it invaluable
for correct collection of sales tax.
Washington State now available
Washington Department of Revenue is also offering
businesses a $1,000 in tax credits to offset costs associated with configuring their
accounting systems to comply with the new requirements. Contact the
Department for details and eligibility
requirements.
